Hey,
it’s Marc.
A few nights ago
I woke up around 3 14 AM.
Not because of a noise.
Not because I had to get up.
My brain simply decided
it was time to think.
And not useful thinking.
The same conversation.
The same problem.
The same scenario.
Over and over again.
Like my mind was stuck
on repeat.
Have you ever noticed that?
You spend all day busy.
Then the moment everything gets quiet
your brain suddenly brings up things
you weren't even thinking about before.
For a long time
I thought this meant something was wrong.
Maybe I wasn't handling stress well.
Maybe I wasn't mentally strong enough.
But neuroscience tells a different story.
Your brain hates uncertainty.
When something feels unresolved
your brain keeps returning to it.
Not to annoy you.
To solve it.
The problem is
many situations in life
don't have an immediate solution.
Relationships.
Money.
Health.
The future.
So the brain keeps searching.
And searching.
And searching.
Even when there's nothing useful
to do in that moment.
What helped me
I stopped trying to "win" the argument
inside my head.
Instead
I grabbed a notebook.
And wrote down exactly
what I was thinking.
No filtering.
No organizing.
Just getting it out.
Something interesting happened.
The moment the thoughts were on paper
they lost their grip.
Not completely.
But enough.
Enough for my nervous system
to stop treating them like an emergency.
That's the lesson
Not every thought deserves more attention.
Some thoughts simply need a place to land.
Because when everything stays trapped
inside your head
your brain assumes
it still needs to work on it.
So if you find yourself stuck
in the same mental loop lately
try writing it down.
You might discover
that the brain often relaxes
the moment it no longer has to carry everything itself.
Stay sharp

Surgery Recovery Starts Before Surgery
Many patients prepare extensively for the procedure itself — but recovery preparation often gets overlooked.
Healing increases demand for nutrients involved in tissue repair, immune support, collagen production, and recovery. HealFast was designed specifically to support the body before and after surgery with physician-formulated nutritional support created for the recovery process.
Instead of scrambling afterward, many patients now prepare for recovery before surgery even happens.
Because supporting recovery starts long before the procedure is over.
